Description
I have embarked on an Autism Awareness series. I’m focusing on visual sensory input paired with interoception. Interoception is the sense that allows us to have feelings on the inside, feelings like hunger etc. I’ve noticed that in my own experience I have specific interior feelings when for example I visit a historical old house, a wild garden, or the seaside. I think it is these kind of sensations that artists communicate in abstract works. My daughter and I created this piece together on a cold but sunny day in autumn.
