Description
This image was all around me the day after our first torrential rain and hail storm of the year. The clouds were going and coming up over the California foothills that overlook our home. I paint outside on our covered patio and these mountains are just visible over our tall block wall. It’s fun to imagine what it would be like to explore these giants.

Sometimes painting a landscape is trying to capture the wind. You have done a wonderful job of expressing the active weather situation in this one! LF
Danielle Rosaria replied:
Thank you, Bonnie! I never consciously thought of landscapes in this particular way i.e. telling the story of the weather situation and I am really looking forward to purposefully incorporating your idea into my works!
