Description
You know that feeling when you suddenly get in a good mood? With a good book, a song, a beautiful place? Well that’s how I felt when I found a pile of blank canvas at a yard sale! This picture is the result. The view is based on the mountain peaks outside my house. The focal point was painted by my daughter. She’s four years old now and has a fascination with paintbrushes. She ran over while I was painting outside and added her special touch. I liked the free shape she created and left it to represent freedom, the “takeoff.”
Besides the “takeoff” which was done with a brush, the whole painting was done directly from the paint tube and using a piece of foam to spread the paint.
