Description
With quarantine and all the family at home drawing this provided me with a very miniature vacation. I took the photo that I drew this from way back when I was in my teens. My family and I were on a camping trip to Yosemite. The chilled water in this creek was the result of melting snow, but that didn’t stop us from trying to swim in it. This spot was an easy walk from our camp site. At the bank of this creek on morning in the wet mud I found a huge fresh bear track from the night before! This was the closest I’d ever come to one of these huge animals. To this day I love the way the stone arches of this old bridge compliment the beauty of their natural surroundings.
You can see me draw this in time-lapse on YouTube: https://youtu.be/XYOI9tTZmmE
