Description
It was afternoon. We were getting ready to leave the Arboretum when I turned around and this little pair of doves caught my eye. They were resting quite comfortably and were not at all put off by my close observation of them. I worked on the under-drawing while they sat, relaxed, and gently preened themselves. As I completed the sketch, they quietly walked away under the bush.
