Artist's Description

My son has always appreciated art. When he was almost two, we visited the art museum with him and his sister in the double stroller. As we approached a painting that he particularly liked, I whispered in his ear, “Now John Paul, this is Gaugin.” So when we arrived in front of the painting, he yelled out in his baby voice, “That’s Gaugin!” You can imagine how the people around stopped to stare at him!

Here John Paul and I take some time off to enjoy art time. He drew his abstract works while I drew him.

Greetings! I am so happy to be a part of this amazing worldwide community or artists. I come from a family of creative people and am grateful to my parents for cultivating my creativity which is now part of my daily life. I am a classically-trained musician and violinist with a doctorate in violin performance and until recently was the director and conductor of the La Verne Symphony Orchestra which I am happy to say still flourishes in that city. At the moment I've left the stage in order to raise our two little babies. Being a mom is what I do now. And the challenge is weaving creativity into this new life.
