Artist's Description

This was done during the "rainy season" in Southern California. These are the hills above Monrovia, CA. The rains marked the end of a very long and intense drought. Here the clouds make their retreat off of the hills after a night of rain. Nature teaches us that even stormy times pass and the rain waters the earth.

Greetings! I am so happy to be a part of this amazing worldwide community or artists. I come from a family of creative people and am grateful to my parents for cultivating my creativity which is now part of my daily life. I am a classically-trained musician and violinist with a doctorate in violin performance and until recently was the director and conductor of the La Verne Symphony Orchestra which I am happy to say still flourishes in that city. At the moment I've left the stage in order to raise our two little babies. Being a mom is what I do now. And the challenge is weaving creativity into this new life.
