Description
On our neighborhood walks, my children always loved stopping to sit next to a concrete turtle planter. That was until it’s owner moved it inside the gate to sit next to a small potted garden. Today, my family was out for our usual neighborhood walk. The turtle’s family was out too, caring for their garden. My daughter ran up the steps and went right into their garden! They laughed until she tried to lift the concrete turtle and almost squish the plants underneath! As I ran in to save the little garden, the lady of the house gave me this calm little persimmon.

Hi, Daniella. I am stopping by as a small thank you for your work as administrator of one of the groups in which I participate. Thank you! This lovely painting caught my eye, as we have a persimmon tree in our front yard that is currently exploding with fruit!! It gets so much attention and so many inquiries from passersby! I love persimmons, but you can only eat so many, and we have gotten to share a lot of the fruit, which is always fun. But there is nothing calm and quiet about my persimmons, in contrast to this lovely, serene still life!
