Description
Every ten years in California a drought period is followed by a wet winter which allows millions of wildflower seed that have been waiting silently to suddenly sprout up and cover the hills with a colorful blanket of wildflowers. This is what happened this year, 2019. Here, in the hills around Lake Elsinore, California poppies paint the hills a glorious orange. This phenomena is so extraordinary that it was even featured on the German news!
